In the beginning of this year, my Mental Health Matters club and I took on a project to spread awareness about mental health through video production. Thus, we entered a state competition called the Directing Change competition. …

Over summer, I entered a program called the Future Entrepreneur Challenge. In this program, I learned about entrepreneurship, business, and how to pitch your ideas. Throughout this program, my group came up with an entrepreneur idea and at the end, we pitched it to a board of investors. Amazingly, our…

This is our 2020–2021 year tennis team.

This year has been a lot, to say the least. I’m still super thankful that our school district has allowed for sports to continue. In addition to being on our swim team, I also play on our school’s tennis team. I’m our varsity #1 player and have been since freshmen year.

It has been a crazy school year so far. Being in ASB (leadership class) during a pandemic and having to maneuver all of our events to fit our current setting has definitely been wild. However challenging, this year has also taught me a lot of lessons: it’s definitely challenged my flexibility, ability to adapt, and communication skills.

I am very honored to be nominated and recieve the Buzz Lightyear Award in our leadership class. It’s called the Buzz Lightyear Award because it is given to people who have gone above and beyond. Being the team lead of our Dig Pink (awareness about breast cancer) week, which is one of our biggest events in our school, has taught me a lot about leadership and how to exeute events successfully.
