Buzz Lightyear Award

It has been a crazy school year so far. Being in ASB (leadership class) during a pandemic and having to maneuver all of our events to fit our current setting has definitely been wild. However challenging, this year has also taught me a lot of lessons: it’s definitely challenged my flexibility, ability to adapt, and communication skills.

I am very honored to be nominated and recieve the Buzz Lightyear Award in our leadership class. It’s called the Buzz Lightyear Award because it is given to people who have gone above and beyond. Being the team lead of our Dig Pink (awareness about breast cancer) week, which is one of our biggest events in our school, has taught me a lot about leadership and how to exeute events successfully.
